Murder in the Family, my collection of short crime fiction, has never been my strongest seller, though it has sold decently since it was released in the summer of 2012.
In the past few days, however, the sales for Murder in the Family have really taken off in Australia. I have no idea why, since I’m not running any promos for the collection at the moment, neither in Australia nor elsewhere. And the collection never sold all that well in Australia before.
However, the mysterious Australian sales surge has also landed Murder in the Family in the top three of a subcategory bestseller list at Amazon Australia, ahead of Agatha Christie, Ian Rankin and G.C. Chesterton. See for yourselves:
